CP questions and throat guard question

I am in need a of a new CP!! I am looking at the sentinel pro and maverick cp. If anyone has some pro's and con's on these two CPs that would be great. Also will the cascade c2 throat guard work on a CPX? If so can someone find a link to a tutorial for me? I can not seem to find one.
