you have more adrenaline in your system and you don't think about it as much because you will just keep on playing and will be focused on the game not the pain

Yea it doesnt hurt as bad in games cause your so pumpd. In practice your not realy pumpd up cuz practice is gay hence the ball hurts more.

i thikn your definitely more relaxed in practice and it is not a game situation so you definitely arent as pumped and when the adrenaline is pumping you dont feel it as much

with all the adrenaline/endorphins runnign around, not to mention the excitement going on in the game, you kind of build an immunity to it.
i know that for me, i dont feel anything in games, its the morning after that kills me.

i really dont get hit in games becaus i have a good defense and get longer shots,, but in practice i get hit alot, and it hurts like hell because the kids on my team have like 90mph shots!!!

yeah its because youre so pumped in a game, you have all the adrenaline. plus in practice its okay to feel the pain and maybe stop for a second or let a goal in. but in a game you dont have the time to react to the pain cause you have to watch the rebound.

ye totally
they throw it way harder in prac
and in a game u basically would average 20 shots
but practice u would average over a 100

scientific reason- more endorphins released in the brain which blocks the pain messages from your brain.
because you are more excited/pumped up, more endorpins are released during the game then boring old practice

generally, games are supposed to be easier than practice.
but the adrenaline pumps you up too.
