Warrior "Hot Pocket?"

Since Women's lax forum could always use a little more traffic then why not...

Seems like warrior has renamed their trad pocket a "hot pocket". Of course once e-lacrosse gets a hold of this scoop they're going to write a 5000 word article about how the term "hot pocket' is profane and sexist. Being a guy's player, is this pocket the same as their normal trad variation, or something new? The shooting strings look a little weird on it, or it could just be how warrior has always done it

Seems like stx has also named their trad pocket a "precision" pocket, similar to a twisti or pita. No real question here, I'm just looking to see some girl laxer's comments on this.

I believe the stx pocket was discussed before, but not the warrior pocket.

The hot pocket isn't so much a renamed traditional pocket. The two strips in the center aren't leathers they are a synthetic material. The Hot Pocket is Warrior's version of deBeer's Trakker Pro. Warrior is still offering a normal traditional pocket in their heads.

STX's precision pocket also is not their renamed traditional pocket. They still offer a normal traditional pocket, but on their highend heads offer the precision pocket, which is a modified pita pocket, with nylon string replacing the 2 center leathers, and a twisted nylon channel down the middle.

But, yes both of these pockets are new for this year.

haa ha, same here
...but now that i think about it, it's kind of typical for warrior to come up with a name like that. i don't want to say that it's not intentional (because it obviously is) but with today's society it's just what sells.
