I just switched to a Warrior Heroine Powershaft from Title IX, it definitely has a heavier feel to it.....

From a guys input...
I don't think liquidmetal is worth the money for girls. The real selling point of it is that it's supposed to be 3 times stronger than titanium...I don't think a girl needs that strong of a shaft (no offense if you were insulted by that). And DB803's are pretty tough, are lighter, and cost less. If you want to decide between octogonal and triax, its just best to go to your local lax store and compare grips.
If you're interested in a composite shaft, not a lot of people have tried out the heroine or the velvet. However, there might be some extra incentive for you by buying the velvet, since some of its funds to go breast cancer research. However, I have played around with both the matrix and harrow before...
I think the harrow was heavier. Don't quote me on that. The grips also varied a little. The harrow grip had a more "rubberlike" feel on it. Or in other words, the grip was a little more intense. The Matrix's grip was a little more suddle (sp?) and a little more natural in my opinion. As a guy, it's important to switch hands constantly, so that's why I preferred the brine composite style over a harrow. But its really all a preference.
I think at this point with so many companies coming out with composite shafts, it's safe to start moving onto them over metal shafts. They are the new style of shafts in both mens and womens lax, so why get a metal shaft now? And soon enough someone will make a composite almost as light as a db803.
