ok, so whats everyones thoughts on who is gonna be the biggest threats this coming season? give your top 5 or so.. mine is as follows.
I think maryland, virginia and princeton are going to be forces again this year, like usual! I'd like to think Maryland could go all the way, although they have lost a few seniors and also with Delia Cox not in the side anymore it makes them that much weaker! but still Acacia and Greta sommers are quality players. I think Northwestern are going to be a big force next year! with 13 seniors and with how well they did last season, i think they will turn some heads! anyway they are my thoughts, let me know.

I pretty much agree with USLacrosse's recent ranking. Maryland needs to get some big guns before they'll be winning a championship again (as much as I love them and want to see it happen). I have a feeling Duke will have a good year, as well as the normal schools. Honestly I dont know enough to say now. Look for BU to step it up after last season...they'll be hungry.

I gotta say I was very impressed with the play of the unknown lacrosse schools such as venderbilt, denver. I always like watching new programs or programs that aren't too strong come of age and become a major talent. I look forward to seeing them in action this year, along with the traditional powerhouse programs of uva, princeton, etc etc (sorry, not much of a prediction, just my thoughts on the new season)

looks very much like another Virginia-Princeton final. Big dropoff to the next tier, which should be exciting--lots of good teams. Look for Carolina and Hopkins to have big years with outstanding freshmen. Future looks bright at both schools.

i'm going to say virginia and princeton in the finals again, virginia wins...they've still got amy appelt who is pretty much the definition of unstoppable, as well as plenty of others. i'll say duke, hopkins, and unc round out the top 5.
