So an Idea from one of my Lacrosse friends was to drop a short stick back to defense, and put two longsticks on the face off. I heard that this works well and 9 out of 10 times you will get possetion. any thoughts?

it would be a risky thing to do. The LSM's have to have good stick skills and quick speed though.

Hmmm..At first thought it sounds pretty good, but if you dont have too fast LSM like fp said then your plan will backfire. Im a little hesitant to ask my coach to do that but maybe i will soon.

it would suck if you get a fast break right off the bat, i guess you could still do ok with 2 lsm.

I think it can be done depending on how good ur overall defense is, if it backfire ur defense have to buy enough time for the LSM to come back then u should be able to dominate in defense with the extra d pole. But if they exploit the inital momentum and break ur defense ur screwed. It all depends on how good ur defense is at sliding, how good your d poles and that middies individual defense skills are and everyones speed.
