I'm trying to increase my speed, and i know there has been a recent rise in speed threads, but i was just wondering the most efficient exercises one can do without weights or any type of equipment.

Sprint. Then sprint up hills, run down them, do a little more running, and then maybe sprint up another hill. At least that's helped me.

yea but what is the best exercise, like squat, you can do to strengthen your legs for speed, without weights?

Sprint, period.

Weights and leg strength are great, but nothing will help you speed as much as actually sprinting, cone runs, etc. Mimic what youd use in a game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but squating isn't much without weights. You can increase speed without weights by just simply running. But you have to make sure you vary your distances.

Also the stronger your upper body is the faster you will be able to run. The faster your arms can pump when sprinting, the faster you can go. This, of course, requires weights.

The jackpot is if you live near a ski slope. Run up that bad boy...it does wonders.

and jump rope and find like something you can jump on and off of. this will help you be more explosive off the line and like everyone said, only way to get faster is to keep sprinting diff distances.
