Hey - I'm new here but want to make a suggestion. Divide the forum into a mens and womans side. The rules are totally different - they deserve different forums.

Or has this been tried?

Much to my dismay, no one talks about women's rules here anyways. So it's not really an issue. Though I would advise some of you seasoned mens officials to look into the rules of the women's game, it might give you some insight into the sport as a whole a bit more and the women's game needs good refs just as much as the mens game.

At one point, under "women's forums," I think there was a rules section, but I just tried to find it and couldn't. No one really talks about the women's rules here; I'm sure I couldn't be of much help.

Setting up a women's rules forum is a good idea, since for the most part different people would be interested in them. I'll never read the women's rules; I don't want to get confused, and I can do all the men's games I want.

Yeah, there used to be womens forum and in it was sub-forums containing a general, open, stick tech, rules and I think one other but recently they (the administrators) condensed into one big forum... But yeah I think there was a solid two threads in the rules forums but bascially if there are any questions, the players usually answer them or RYU or CTlaxer will sometimes help out too if they can.

Mostly they just gripe about rules they don't have a solid understanding of in the first place. I'm not picking on wlaxers necessarily, b/c this is pretty much true of all laxers in general.

As far as I could tell, I was the only certified wlax umpire on TLF until Lax-Umpire joined. Nice to have someone else on board.

Ahem. I think Latin Babe and I are usually pretty right on with our assesment of women's rules.

Just standing up for ourselves :)

I do agree that most women's laxers (mostly younger ones) tend to grip about rules. I mean, heck I grip about goggles but...thats different.
