against the offense, I got confused (last practice), because it was 4v3, and since everyone was already covered, I seemed to have been left standing.
What should I do in that situation?

Either double the ball, help out in the crease , or be the slide, if they are in circle.

probably double the ball or back up the man on the ball so that he can play very aggressively without worrying about getting burned. Adjacent should be locked off.

when the D is man up you should go "Loyola Lockdown". meaning, every defender is within an elbow jabs reach of their man. and the extra man is doubling the ball. what you get is a double teamed guy with no pass options, and that means "Ball Down!" followed by "TWO HANDS!" followed by "Settle it!".

my coach says to always double the ball, because you'll find sitting by the crease will probablly mess up your goalies line of sight.

Double the ball but have one play aggresivly, and one conservatevly.
