so lax middie, what u r saying is that if you flare or temper the side wall, it makes it legal, hence, scoop 6.5 on the outside, but 6.2 in....

I guess my question was more, could you use a metal head?

yes you could I think its legal but it'd be dumb, wouldn't be able to have nearly the stick handling that you do because its so heavy. It'd also be dumb because you'd ruin a lot of peoples sticks and that'd be dick to do in my oppinion. now that I think abotu it I dont think it would be legal just because of the hazards it presents to other people depending how heavy the head is it could really break some bones and what not

Metal heads are illegal.
NFHS Rule 1-7-1 "The crosse shall be made of wood, laminated wood or synthetic material..."

no you can break bones with a plastic head just not as easily as with a metal head or wooden head.

you can always fiber glass wrap you head, seen it done, not sure if legal, cuz NCAA tends to have extremely stupid rules for lax sometimes as does uslax

You can actually by fiberglass strips which are used for things like boat and car repair. You then mix two chemicals they give you and put the fibercglass on with them. Never tried it and never will but that's how fiberglass works. And that stuff is pretty strong.

You can get the strips and you can get a coating of fiberglass and have your stick completly covered. I used it on my golie stick in hockey to protect it from skates.
