Bring on the Steelers! I was amazed tonight. If Roethlesberger and the Steelers play anything like they did last night, they are done for. I'm set for a great game.

Pats are favored by three

I like that role
Steelers play better when theyre not favored.

The Steelers don't have a thing on the Patriots and you know it. The Steelers couldn't hold the 5th highest scoring NFL team in HISTORY to only 3 pts. The Steelers couldn't shut down the league MVP 7 times in a row. You know that.

The only reason that game was so close was because Roth was having a bad game. So the Pats' awesome defense has to rush Roth and other other stuff. To take him out of his game. So that the Steelers suck.

Oh, so NOW its the Patriots PLAY that kept Manning off-balanced. Oh, because before, you guys wouldn't shut up about the weather and history that Manning can't win there. Make up your mind.
So it makes sense that you base your "how the pats are going to cream the steelers" argument on the performance of a QB that can't exorcise his demons.
Geez, didn't Pitt. beat NE in the regular season? "Oh, but bro, youre forgetting we didnt have Dillion. Now with a half-decent RB, we will run all over the Steelers."
And I quote from ESPN.com: "Man are they impressive. They didn't just beat the Patriots and Eagles, they demolished them. Pittsburgh outgained the No. 2 and No. 3 teams in our rankings 837-361 in the last two weeks."

You obviously don't know a thing about football or the Pats. That game they lost 5 starters, and had to make a HUGE transition, against a great team that puts games away once they have a lead. Now, you can't tell me that the Pats have a bad secondary. With a former LB and WR at dbacks, they killed an extremely good Colts team.

What the hell are you talking about? I never said anything like that nor did I care about the weather or the W-L record. I know that anyone can win anyday no matter what the elements or history.

i hope beeriosos are a new chef boyardee flavor cuz you shouldnt be drinking mister!
but yes as a jets fan i was sincerely upset at the outcome. things like missing 43 yard field goals shouldnt be a factor in a team's loss. i would have been happier with a blow out then this close game.

And the steelers shouldn't have made it this far with a rookie qb. How many "shouldn't haves" about the steelers have happened this season?

The Colts and the Steelers play a different style of football. The injury of key Patriots didn't matter because the Pats, playing a physical style, could dominate the finesse-style Colts. The Steelers are likewise a physical team. Their wide receivers are physical where the Colts guys are not. Their defense is stifling. They pounded Philly just as easily, a Philly team that outpaced the ProWAC. There are plenty of statistics that are fun to look at but really mean nothing. Brady 7-0 in the playoffs, Belichick 7-0 with the Pats in the postseason, rookies can't QB a team to the Super Bowl. None of that means a thing, the only thing that matters is the next one.
