My new years resolution was to start lifting weights seriosly again I have been lifting weights four days a week for like three weeks now and havent really seen any results at all. About how long will it take to get definition. Im pretty skinny so I don't think weight is the problem.

Supplement with protein. Lots and lots of protein. And a multivitamin.
You live in austin, right? Go join 24 hour fitness. There is one on 38 and a 1/2 st by the old navy. They have the best equipment I have ever seen and decent trainers for a reasonable price. Plus you can work out at like 1am, which is cool.

Getting cuts is simply getting bigger muscles. Train hard, and EAT!!! If you're not full, you're not growing. Don't expect to look menacing and scary for a few years of serious training.

Since you said you're skinny, you're probably not predisposed to packing on muscle easily. Like 1/2 said, eat eat eat. Eat everything, but try to stick with healthy stuff if you can. The more you exercise, the easier it is to eat healthy. If you're willing to shell 25 bucks a month, get protein, it's money well spent. I'd stay away from multivitamins though, at your age you shouldn't need them, but if you do, just take them on days you work out. Just train heavy with low reps. Look up cheat exercises or negatives, or just send me a pm and I'll explain them. Also, try to find a lifting partner, they'll be able to share experience and encouragement.

When I said I was skinny I meant that I'm thin but but not twig like. I got decent strength just no definition in my muscles.
