I am here in Jacksonville and I know alot of guys who would be willing to help my string my X2, but I am not sure If I should just stick with my hard mesh, with a the V shooting strings. I am a pretty big guy so you wont see me running down the field and shooting, I mostly play crease. Any tips would be great.

What don't you like about the current stringing? Generally its the best idea to stick with mesh unless you can string your own traditional/custom pockets. If you want more hold, try going for a mesh with more diamonds. That may help.

Hey nice to see some FL laxers in here, were coming up there to play Episcopal sometime during the season, their good I hear. Well, from a fellow d pole, I started out with a traditional, I like the accuracy but the daily central florida afternoon showers in the summer ruined it. So I ordered some 5 diamond mesh from Jimalax.com and am waiting to string it. I suggest get some 5 diamond mesh and string it yourself, I am learning to string and strung my own traditional but mesh is very easy to string especially 5 diamond monster mesh with its big diamonds. 5 Diamond has great hold, best choice for d pole, and its practically weather proof and last way longer than traditional with maintainence.

Actually I talked to my coah and he said he likes The Mega Mesh Buddy, I threw with it alittle and it was great. I could throw further, easier and the pocket is easy to break in, if you want a longer pass I'd reccomend the Mega Mesh Buddy.
