that is truly a great quote. Normally i didnt like how lax is compared to baseball, but in this article i found it acceptable. it still peeves me a bit but i wont complain because it is correct and lax comes out on the up side.

Sigh.... ignorant fool. You are an embarassment to sports as a whole by saying that. Do you really think that, or are you trying to sound cool? People obviously care and watch baseball WAY MORE than lacrosse. Just think about it. When was the last time you saw someone in a lacrosse jersey? Or lacrosse on the cover of the newspaper?

Now, for contrast, I give you Major League Lacrosse. It has elite athletes as in baseball, people who've fine-tuned skills for just about all their lives as in baseball, people who've spent an inordinate amount of time on Earth at - egad - practice as in baseball, and people who average a reported $13,000 per year.
Switch baseball with lacrosse and vice versa.

No one should be getting paid that much for any sport. And baseball players arent pansies. (see quote above)

Baseball players aren't only pansies......they are lazy pansies. What kind of sport involves 9 guys standing on a field waiting for one guy to pitch the ball to one guy who will usually only hit it a little better than half the time and who will normally only get on base 3 out of 10 times. After they are done standing then they got to go sit in the dugout and wait for their turn to bat.
Sorry to offend any baseball lovers but your sport is sooooooo sloooooooowwww.

That's why people watch baseball more then lacrosse. Lacrosse is too fast for most people. A true fan of sports and athletisism will enjoy lacrosse while someone that is just there to pass time, would rather watch baseball because they can talk for ever without missing anything. Unfortunatly for us, there are less people that want to see an amazingly fast and physical sport.
