Which Attack position goes to the best athlete/most talented player?

Is it crease? Is it "X"?

All attack positions show different aspects of athletic ability.

I thinks he is talking about what positions for attackmen usually have the best athletes. Not all positions on the field.

You have to have quick hands to play crease. You have to have great vision and see the field well to play x. You have to be a good dodger and shooter to play the wings. I wouldn't say theirs a clear answer, just play where you think you fit in.

I always thought X and crease were the same position. I would say that player is field smart.

crease for me is the best ball handler and has to be an excellent a feeder, shooter, and rider on clears

I realize their is no clear answer...let's just say YOU are a coach. You have an attackmen that is the best player and the best athlete, where would you play him?

That depends on what type of athlete he is, if he is fast and quick and has great vision, I'd put him at x. If he is 6'5'' and 200lbs with outstanding stick skills, I'd put him at crease. If he has a 100mph shot, I'd put him at wing. It all depends.

if he is a shooter, i would put him on the wing of his dominant hand. as a former attackman, i loved playing right because i honestly felt i had a greater oppurtunity to rip it. if he has a mediocre shoot compared to the wing attackmen yet has an uncanny ability to dodge and pass, put him at x. he could easily draw the double, dump it off, and get the assist.

I would say the attack at X needs to be good at everything. He dodges, feeds, shoots, cuts for open looks etc,,,

If your an attackman and you playing the same position all game every game...its way to easy to gameplan against you. You should be playing and moving around to all positions. As a coach if I was to see a great attackman but knew he didn't move to all areas of the field he would be pretty easy to gameplan against and the D will know exctly where he is on the field at all times.
