I spent part of the evening printing out the 2005 rulebook on 8.5x11 paper. It's a little bit of work to get it printed out properly if you want it double sided, but it's worth it. If you select the option to "Fit to paper" the type size is larger, and there's plenty of room for writing notes in the margins.
Then I'll transfer my 2004 notes to the 2005 book, taking special joy whenever I find something that I submitted for a clarification or rule change that got put in. I also highlight any of the rules or ARs that catch my attention. These are usually ones where I think "Hey, that's one that would be easy to screw up!"
