any tips?

me and my freinds and teammates play lax but it isnt sponsered by the school...but all the teams they play are...and we loose to them because they get a peroid to practice....we need some good points to convince the school on sponsering the sport(im just talking like jerseys and stuff)

any tips?

start with teachers that support your team and then work your way up from there. you need someone with some power in the school to see you (hence the teacher) and then the adminastrators may.

you might try getting them to half sponser you for a couple of years. my old school just got a lacrosse team 3 years ago and we were self funded the first year, and only got about half of what we needed the second. they might be more willing to help if they didnt have to go in all the way at first

my team has the same problem. we come up with our own funding though. the school helps out with some spare equipment but other than that we just sport the name.
