The National Lacrosse League announced yesterday that NBC would televise live the league's All-Star Game from Calgary on Saturday, Feb. 26 and the league championship on Saturday, May 14. It's the first time live lacrosse has been broadcast on American network television.
"We have been working toward this day since I arrived at the NLL 5 years ago," commissioner Jim Jennings said.
"This puts us at another level," Wings coach Lindsay Sanderson said. "It gives us the opportunity for more people to see what a great game this is."
