!. May I assume Rule 4-6-d-2 was not deleted from the book as it should have been?

2. Rules 4-19-e If a goalie breaks his stick or other required equipment becomes broken or dislodged...kill play immediately
Rule 4-27 AR 113. Participating in the play without required equipment is a technical foul.

So if goalie loses his glove in the scrimmage area or his shoe and he continues to play...flag down and killplay immediately?

Clearly. It amazes me that year after year there are rule changes and no one goes through to check all of the implications of the rule changes elsewhere in the book. For example:

s. Attempting to circumvent the rules pertaining to advancing the ball beyond the defensive-area line by deliberately creating a loose ball or by having the ball become loose without contact.

u. Failure to advance the ball beyond the defensive-area line or into the attack area in 10 seconds.

I'm sure there are many more. I'm just getting started.

The goalie can't continue to participate in the play since you kill the play as soon as he loses the required equipment. For example, if goalie B1 breaks his stick, that kills the play. The fact that he then tries to stop a shot is immaterial since we're now in a dead-ball situation. At least, that's he only thing I can see that makes sense.
