Does anyone have any Division I game tapes please?
I'm looking to get hold of any Women's Lacrosse games from the last few years 1999-2004.
I'm willing to trade Men's games for tapes.
The tapes will be used for Coaching Women's Lax in the UK.
Thanks in advance for any info or help

Sum Sum,
Thanks for Reply
I've tried both InsideLacrosse & CSTV with No Joy.
IL have lots of Men's Lacrosse Games for sale. No Women's Lax!
CSTV cover lots of Women's Lacrosse but I've had no luck trying to get copies.
If I could get CSTV over here I'd subscribe in a minute.
Any other ideas welcome :concerned

Hmm I might be going to a binghamton/lehigh game in february. I don't know if they will let me tape but I could try. I know they're not a princton like team but D1 none the less.

When I'm home over spring break I'll hit up the local Maryland, Georgetown, Loyola, and JHU games. I'll tape them. Would you mind paying a few bucks just to cover the cost of the tapes and shipping? Email me at srodman-sterling@danahall.org and we'll work it out.

just make sure you know US and UK tapes/dvd's have different coding. UK/Aus is PAL and US is NTSC. I got Blast Lacrosse from the US and had to chip my playstation before playing it. You could play NTSC dvd's on x-box if it is chipped? Otherwise you need a real expensive video player that can play both...?
Other than that i'd love to get my hands on some top D1 action! :)

Kerf: I don't know what Australia is like, but in the UK VCRs are a lot cheaper now because DVDs have taken over. Also all newer VCRs have NTSC playback, so you can't record but you can play US tapes.
Likewise though any Division One games off TV would be great...
How is women's lax in Perth?
Is it as big as in Victoria?
When you fancy a few EMU
kerf raised an important point about different regional video standards. In addition to VHS NTSC vs PAL, I believe most of Europe uses Region 3 coded DVDs while USA & Canada use Region 1. You can get a region-free DVD player that will play them all, or some discs are coded Region 0 to play on any DVD player. And if you're going to burn a DVD, then it gets even more complicated w/ differing DVD-R/DVD-RW +/- standards.

Almost all DVD players have "region hacks" where you can just hit a sequence of buttons on the remote, and voila the player will play DVDs from any region. You can google your player, and if you have trouble feel free to PM me, but it shouldn't be too hard.

thanks for info on chipping DVDs, there are also multi-region ones available.
For the record US = Region 1, Europe = Region 2.
Whatever the format, DVD/VHS or NTSC/PAL...
Does anyone have any Div I Women's Lacrosse from TV?
CSTV showed some games last year or WMAR-TV Baltimore have had WLAX on TV over the last few years.
It would be great to see the top women's lacrosse rather than just read about it.

Dont worry, I've still got your email in my inbox and am planning on taping games. So your saying my VHS is fine for me to record on, right?
