our teams always get into little brawls....except it gets out of control, our baseball team are all a bunch of stuck up snot noses and when the teams get into a argument the baseball team will say somthing that has nothing to do with sports and that pisses us of....scince our lax team is made up of a bunch of badass's who deff need anger mangment, they will acually hit one of the baseball players and start a acuall fight. i think this is dumb because we all no lax is better, y argue!?!?

yea man we do that all the time in school.... i cant count how many times ive gotten into a fist fight last year with the baseball team.... funny thing is some of the kids on the baseball team joined our team in the fight and beat up there own team mates.... funny as hell.... i really beat the life out of this one kid who cheated with my ex girlfriend

Hmm softball and girls lacrosse is somewhat intese like that but the baseball team won states, soo our boys can't really say much. But yeah generally, our baseball/softball teams and lacrosse teams have severe disagree ments though i don't think here have been any fights.

Some of my friends play baseball and we get in fights all the time becuase they think baseball requires more athleticism than lacrosse, they're pretty dumb though.

I played baseball. The reasons I quit is because A. I sucked and B. The coach was a jerk. The lax teams and baseball teams don't really fight at my school. Actually, there aren't really any sports rivalries, because we have a relatively small school, and so many people are on more than one team.

Our boys lax team and baseball team are constantly in fights.They will fight in the locker rooms, the baseball team one time actually peed on one of the lax guys cars, they do stuff to eachothers clothes in the locker room, they are just brutal.

Now that we have a girls lax team, the softball team is trying to tell us that "girls lacrosse is a real girly sport" just cuz we don't play like the guys.W/e, we still kick butt!

well, baseball couldnt play on our lax field and they have to go up the street to the middle school for practices and games. and we just made a new turf field for soft ball. so they dont try and steal the field.

my team has more of a problem with JV thinking that they are allowed to take our field space when they are supposed to be going to this other field at this elementary school or someting.

anyway there are a lot of baseball players at my school too that have switched or are switching to lacrosse. my school doesnt have rivalries with other sports just with other schools.

Our baseball team is full of guys who think that they're awesome and get all the chicks, when its so far from the truth. Its so sad when they act like they are the greatest athletes in the school, while their team blows. Unfortunately, baseball doesnt show alot of athleticism. Its gay, I dont say anything about it. Batting is very difficult, especially with sliders and stuff. But I would compare that to trying to poke check an attackman's bottom hand while he's moving his stick around crazilly while sprinting. The baseball players dont mess with us, they give a few gay comments like "How's LACROSSE coming along?" and smirk, but most of them are wowed by what we do with our sticks...

our school is more fights over lax and soccer...because there's really only 1 practice field, so every year either lax or soccer has to drive to one of the middle/elementary schools to practice. we only have varsity lax so girls and boys have just shared the practice field for the last 2 years. it's stupid for soccer to get the practice field because there are 4 soccer teams so either way a soccer team is going to have to go to another school, so why don't they all just go somewhere? and the soccer teams are both bad, but they think their sport is really hardcore...

u know this is what bugs me. the most. At my school lots a kids dont know what lax is and they think it is some kind of pusssy sport. All the baseball kids label it as "GAY" when they havnt seen one game. lacrosse is one of the most brutal sports there is.

ur guys schools have arguemtns about sports that arent even in the same season? thats weird because a lot of guys at my school play both football and lacrosse. and plently of girls play both soccer and lacrosse (football=fall and soccer=winter and lax=spring seasons)

whoa, warm weather. Soccer and football are both in fall due to the fact you can't play either during the winter. Lacrosse is in the spring. theonly arguements we have for fields is when we can't play on the football field for a night game, or when the guys have a home game the same day as us then we compete for the better field. We have plenty of fields though. My school is all on one big campus, o our jv girls, jv guys, and both varsity teams have their own fields. So does varsity/jv softball and baseaball. All of the modified sports have their own feilds too. But yeah, basball/softball and lacrosse shall always be rivalries at my school.

At my school, football, basketball, wrestling and baseball jocks are the biggest hosers. They take over everything during gym, but then they act like jerks to everybody else in the class. The soccer kids aren't bad, and the hockey team is cool. We have to practice at a junior high, as does our soccer team, because it'd be the number one sin to touch the football field DURING THE SPRING. They have nice lights, huge bleachers, great everything, and they don't let anybody use it. Eerrrgh. I mean, girls' soccer is in the fall, but guys' is in the spring, and I think it's the same way for tennis. But the jocks, ugh, they need to get their heads out of their bums and realize that the 100 or so of them are no better than the sometimes more talented and athletic tennis, soccer, track/cross-country, hockey or lacrosse kids. Jerks. That's how I feel.

thats so weird, but i guess its because we dont have much of a winter here. like it was about 75 the other day, but then it was only 55 today but then it got up tp about 65. but compared to where most of u live its realllly warm.

anyway my school only had one field until last spring when the new softball field was finished. i guess its because our schools getting bigger and land is way to expensive (my schools about 2 blocks from the beach) new schools inland have like the hugest campus' and have like 4 baseball fields and 3 practice fields plus their huge turf stadium. oh well as long as jv doesnt try to take over the field again i dont mind. actually the girls are respectful and dont act like they should have space over us but hte guys jv sucks and pretends like tehy should get to use the good field instead of the softball field or a nearby elementary.

Here not many of the sport teams even know we have a lacrosse team! We probably get the most banter off the hockey team cos we train on astroturf like them sometimes, but they do tend to shut up once they see us actually playin!

Rugby player are also normally up for a bit of slangin, but then to be fair to them you do have to be pretty hard to play rugby, I think theres quite a bit of mutual respect between rugby and lacrosse here.

We dont have any problems with pitches because there is two lacrosse only pitches which is excellent (just have to fit in with the girls teams).

At my school lacrosse is a relativley new sport so we have to go to a local park to play, because all of the teachers know nothing about lacrosse and wont sponsor it. I find the best thing to do is just suck it up, and of course get their girlfirends drunk, or if at all possible just poison their "dip". Or if you don't like getting arrested, ask them if the sport is so athletic, whats up with those tight pants?
