....Syracuse was already sponsored by Brine, and they were already easily their biggest representative in the lacrosse world. It's more of that Brine sponsored teams are switching to Triads gradually. Like Princeton (a warrior team) i heard is going to wear Vikings.

I was trying to say that having Mike Powell as a brine guy had NO affect whatsoever on Syracuse switching to Triads. How the hell is Mike Powell outfitting them in Brine crap when 'Cuse is already Brine's biggest representative?


And it was a CPro Chromamium on Ebay. I was going to bid on it but it was used , the pic made it look a little reddish, and I really don't trust used helmets or used shoes. I wouldn't wanna wear a helmet that someone who I have no idea is wears when he sweats and sweats with his dirty hair in.

Syracuse was already Brine's biggest client. Now that one of their stars is also a client, how is that going to change anything? A LOT of brine companies in general are switching to Triads. It's not going to be much longer until nearly every Brine company uses Triads...just wait until their contracts with Cascade run out. If Cuse was sponsored by STX or Warrior and they switched to Brine, then maybe I'd think Powell was involved. But I doubt Powell could have convinced them to switch to triads, when Syracuse already has close relations with Brine.

EDIT: Holy crap. I thought the 66 buck helmet you were talking about was a Cascade Chromamium with an orange shell and a white visor/chin. Yikes. 66 Bucks?

As you can see they are just using the normal XP and not the new XP2.

No, those are not them because if you look at the pictures their shoes do not have cleats on them.

ya brendon loftus said that they were using those helmets for preseason because brine wanted em to switch. they said theyd try em out. if they use brine they get 4 different helmets for one yr. cascade offers two. They said that they will be using the cascade helmets, as they have already recieved them...

Brine owning Cascade is a complete load of crap. I think you're confused: The owner/founder of Cascade was a former Brine product designer, whose name happened to be Bill Brine.
