Hot doggers

In recent indoor games i have noticed this one kid who will be playing this year who thinks he is a god on the field. And to be honest he isnt that good (he sucks, cant catch cant pass cant play d cant run cant learn). His idea of defence is to just plow into and then past who ever has the ball (usually he gets beat 75% of the time). He has started ridiculing younger kids who are just picking up the game and feeding them alot of bull. Such as to cut your longstick down (way down), to basically body check all the time and always always run the ball up the field and try to score. Now this kid was on JV last year, hes bloating about how he will make 1st string varsity, all state and maine select. How do i deal with this kid? He really is hurting the team (but to him its only him) and its not even our normal season yet. What can i do to put him in his place, shut him up or make him realise what hes doing wrong. I have tried to talk to him but im shrugged off. How can i get to him?

try talking to ur coach, im sure no normal coach wants a player with this attitude playing 1st string varsity. He can either try and talk to the player on what he needs to improve on and change with his attitude, or just not put him on varsity or something like that.

Punch him in his face fair and square or get some big kid to do it. Cus with kids like him, they dont understand words. They will understand a bloody nose though. Although this is very extreme this is only the last resort. The most effective way is for a coach to tell him or just not play him.

Grab Varsity's best attackman or middie and tell the guy "defend him" and if the A/M is beats the defender enough times, maybe he'll notice something's up. otherwise hit the kid upside the head with your stick.

omg there the worst... i had this kid who was such a poser... he nicknamed himself "Steve-o" i hated him from the begining. All this ***** talked about was how good he was.. he sucked . Then i hit him and he shut up. HE bragged about his freakin stick which was a blaze... i leveled him and got his respect.

I hate ppl that arent good and judge ppl that are better then them. like im not the best on my team at all. and this kid is like the worst by far and he knows it, but he always under judges the talent on our team and over judges the ammount of talent on the other team. He brings down our spirt and makes us think that we are gunna lose and makes me really mad. but whatever hes not gunna make varsity this year so nothing to worry about.

If it were me id let him D up on me and shoot off his hip(Shoot side arm and follow throught hitting the him in the hip with ur stick). My coach taught me that one.

the best thing is to let him get schooled...then point out to the rest of the d men that that is why you shouldnt do things his way...because you will get schooled...
with douches like that fighting and hitting him will just add to the ego...humiliate him at what he thinks he is a god at and watch him tumble...

Show him a better way to play. Be an example. Nobody likes being hit, humiliated or mocked. It is worthless and won't help him in the long run. Pull him over and say, "hey man, let me show you some stuff" or whatever. Call him to pass and catch. If you want him to approve, help him out by showing him. There are far better ways to help him become a better player.

That'd be awesome, but seriously, think about the harmony of the team in this case, because it will help the situation quite a bit better. I think he should get his bum handed to him on a plate a few times, but help him out some, because then he'd be better off and so would your team.

Dont think you are too classy or have too high "morals" or "standards" or "ethics" to do anything about it. The only solution is to steal his girlfriend.

isn't that every lacrosse player? out of every sport i've played, lax players have bigger mouths that skills.
