growing out your hair

OK I've always tried to grow out my hair too make it look good. My hair is brown and not too thick. So it's about 2 3/4" at the longest spot. Is there any certain way I need to cut it or style it to help it grow out right?

Not really. Some people say you can buy hair growth pills or shampoo but it doesnt really work. All you can do is hope it grows sooner than later.

all depends on how long you are growing it out. I had a short haircut before and just let it go and found that it grows into a horrible mullet. You really need to keep the back in check when growing it out. trimming the front all depends on if you are going to part it and put it behind your ears or not.

just let the hair grow and if it looks bad get a trim. theres no art of growing long hair that im aware of.

i just let mine grow, no trim and now the bk is in the middle of my bk and the front comes down past my chin....i got really really thick hair to so its sweet!!

just do what i did and only go to the salon (u heard me right... salons know how to deal with transitional hair better tahn "barbers") once a month for like six months... in the end you will end up with hair that looks better and is longer... mine is currently 9.5 inches long... i only have another .5 of an inch before i can donate it to http://www.locksoflove.org/ if you guys can you should do it

My hair in the back doesn't grow fast enough to turn into a mullet. Sadly. I'm trying to grow one for a Jordan game. But I still have about three months to go, and my hair is kinda long right now.

my hair is kinda curly. not that bad i mean its straight and all its just its not perfect. i used to cut my bangs if they were in my eyes but now i just part it off to the side. takes awhile to get used to.

Most of my friends have longER hair and most looks fairly decent because they just let it grow. I had long hair last year during the winter.

I grew my hair out twice before. Looking back, I think that those were the dirtiest/scrubiest looks that I've ever had. I guess it's all about what kind of hair you have. The only person that I can think of who can pull off long hair is Tom Cruise, think circa Last Samauri/Vanilla Sky. But then again, he can pull off any look.

We already knew. Anyway, long hair is for bums and hippies and girls. Unless it's a mullet. I would get a mullet, but my hair looks horrible in the in-between stage of short and shaggy, like about eye length.

This year i Grew my hair out, its really thick and after it got about 4-5 inches long it started just like flipping up on the side of my head. i like it.

Mine is pretty long, but I gotta keep it trimmed to keep it in chek for lacrosse, but after season I let it go, and get it trimmed so there's no mullet. Just let it go, that works best, and get trims evey so often.

Thats actually not true. However if you trim it, it can reduce split ends which may make the hair look longer.

Thats at thanksgiving...My hairs longer and I got it highlighted for the hell of it...And Montes is right...wheres the drink?! My hairs like 6-7-8ish inches in the back and 5 inch bangs.

I used to have a mullet that was 9 inches long. I donated the hair to Locks For Love.
I want to shave my head, tattoo something on it, and then grow back my hair. Just for the hell of it.

my hair is big, red/orange(natural color) and bushy. is you search deep enough you'll find a couple natural dread locks that formed over time. i always catch people staring at me and old ladies tell me how much they want my color. weird.

If your worried about how your hair is going to look, you shouldn't be growing it out. I grew my hair out. I looked ugly and my face broke out all the time. I trimmed it and never looked back.

Yeah, make sure you wash your hair ALOT. I dont know how often you wash your hair, but it better be everyday if you have long hair. I know when my hair is longer it tends to get greasy fast. Watch out for that. Most often I wont be home for like 2 days, and my hair gets incredibly greasy.

My hair is about 3 inches long now. My hair is really really thick and it looks like i have a helmet on. It looks pretty goofy unless i get a shower right before i go out then it flips up on the side and in the back and looks pretty good. I curious to what it will look like in a fw months since I've never really let my hair grow before.
