new to field

im going to start to play field lacrosse this summer. i play box and people just tell me that defence have to stay in the defensive end. attck in opponets end and middies all over. i dont like defensive but i also dont like standing there for attack. can you guys give me some rules about field or a site with rules?

Well the Defense can cross the midfield line but a middie has to stay back. Attack just stay on their end.
