Is there a difference in the quality of mesh in the 8 diamond compared to the traditional (10 diamond) mesh sold by jimalax? Because a traditional mesh kit is 2 dollars cheaper.

Dont say search for it because nowhere on the site is a comparison between the two.

There may not be a difference in the quality, though it probably will last longer because it's thicker, but every mesh other than 10D is more expensive than 10D.

I am assuming it is just a matter of jimalax maybe selling more/producing more trad mesh and therefore being able to provide a bit of a cheaper price on it....

They probably make tonnes more trad hard and trad soft to distribute to shops and online then they make 8d and others..... They have sooo many types available, but remember they supply to shops and etc too, and most heads there are strung with 10d trad meshes....

But it is just my educated guess....

perhaps the 8d costs more to make? doesn't sell enough? maybe it is better quality?

To anyone who was wondering it is good quality hard mesh its very stiff. It's so stiff they sent me two free pieces of "softer" hard mesh. Once you get it stretched out tho its not bad at all.

Which was stiff the 8D or 10D? Neither of my 8D or 10D from them has been stiff, but they do get some bad batches sometimes.

I just bought some 8D. It was perfect. They also sent me some hard mesh and some extra hard mesh.
