Hey guys, I'm kinda low on cash and I need to invest in a goalie stick. I have a spare F10 shaft laying around, and I really like having an attack length shaft with the goalie head. Would it be bad if I put a goalie head on the F10?

It would probably be very heavy, but there would be no problem if you could work with it.

When I play goalie I like my stick to be pretty top heavy so I use a pretty light shaft. Seems like I can get to low shots alot quicker.

Why would it be bad? I don't see a problem in doing that. I played my freshman year with a Zone on a Brine F-10 PG.

Unless your playing with a powermaster, one of those weighted shafts, its not really gonna make THAT big of a difference what shaft you have on your goalie head

i used to use my F10 shorty with my nemesis over my CU31 goalie and F22 middie shafts. i've recently upgraded to a DB803 goalie shaft, but a I use the F10 on my backup.

My goalie actually prefers to use an F10 or other AL handle. He bangs it on the posts until the bottom bends tward him. He can then get more distance on his throws because of the extra leverage.

Yeah, I used an F10 my freshman year too. I must have got really pissed thouhg because that shaft looks like it went through hell lol. But anywyas, it looks like you switched to attack?

Is the bend really noticable? if yes, that's illegal

Even if it is noticible i doubt the average Arizona Ref would do anything about it.

I am not putting down arizona lacrosse, i play in Illinois wehre lacrosse is generally new to the area. I was just saying how there are a lot of refs who dont notice the small stuff, ecspecially where lacrosse is newer

well the only problem i've had with f10 shafts or aluminum shafts is that they take in the weather a lot when you play in the cold and hot. they condensate and that really bugs me. I noticed that the alloys dont do this so thats why i use them. and as for the weight, i dont think that there is that much difference, but every little weight off does add up.
