URGENT!!!!

For registration for the spring league, I need a US Lacrosse number membership, but I don't have one, is there any way around the 45 dollar fee?

Edit: Registration ends today...

For me, whenever I sign up for leagues, that's not a requirement. It's just optional. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I mean, what program will deny you the chance to play and get better unless they're real nitpicky?

One that doesn't require USL membership.

It adds a lot to the growth of the sport. It's not cool to make something up just so you can play in a league. Cough up the $45 and don't be a jerk. If your league makes you be a member, you should be one, end of story.

the tournaments and leagues that i play in require you to be a member, or else its illegal to play. It migth take a few weeks for them to realize that you're not a member. Being a member does have its benefits, but the main reason they make you be a member of US lacrosse is so that you are covered by insurance through US lacrosse. If you got injured in the tournament or league that you're on, it would be covered by US lacrosse, so the league that you're playing in is not liable for what happened to you.

Its been apart of every year I used to do my town's youth travel team. We pretty much had to register for the youth league AND fill out a form to sign up/renew our US lacrosse membership. The fee was included in it.

Was that second part directed towards me?

See, the thing is, for my Winter league, we paid for a membership, the ref hasn't sent them out though, so if they wonder what's up, I'll just wait until I get the actual number that I was supposed to and say I mistyped...
