I personally wear shoes or these five dollar brine cleats on ebay. I will also wear those cleats outdoors too. As for you, it's all preference, some middies/attack like low tops, and some defense perfer high tops. What ever you are comfertable in, go with that.

A lot of girls wear the Landsharks. Most girls I see tend to wear football type cleats, which I personally use. I use Nike Super Speed cleats in low.
I know a girl who had the men's version of the Burn cleats and she loved them. I wanted them really bad but couldnt find them in stock ANYWHERE in my size last season so I got the Nike ones. Now that they make a women's version I want them as my next pair I think. I personally need really lightweight cleats so I want to try them on first. I might look into the new Brine ones because they look really lightweight and I know Mikey wore the cleats I do in college and he probably had a hand in designing them.
One thing to think of is whether you like low or high cut cleats though. I wear braces on both ankles and I love low cut ones so thats what I go with.
I wear cleats even on turf because I personally feel more stable.

I personally wear soccer cleats on grass and wear puma turf shoes for the turf. Thats only b/c my home field is turf and i get more use out of them then the cleats

I do not have a rulebook in front of me but I believe you can wear any football cleats; any soccer cleats; baseball cleats cannot have the metal spikes or I believe have an exposed metal screw. I am least sure about the 2nd part of the baseball cleats, pretty much positive for the other 3. So yes, soccer cleats are fine.

Rule 7-A: Players must wear composition or rubber soled shoes. No spikes are allowed. Plastic, leather or rubber cleats-studs may be worn.
Yep, so basically no metal, but I have yet to see a maximum length restrictment.

That's what I was thinking as well...unfortunately nobody is selling them locally just yet...I'd like to try them on b4 making an expensive commitment and gotta love the turf shoes wet and dry models...lol...getting all three shoes would definitely blow my budget...on a side note I love the Warrior website..pretty nifty with the music...

In a lot of sports, it's 1/2". That may or may not mean a thing for lacrosse but I know it's that way in football and I believe soccer.

Personally, I dont think that there is really much of a difference between wet and dry turf and I dont think that it is necessary to have a pair of shoes for both. If your gonna get one of the turf versions I'd get the wet one because then if it rains your good. Also, the traction on the wet turf version looks a lot better than the dry turf version and you cant go wrong with more traction.
In a lot of sports, it's 1/2". That may or may not mean a thing for lacrosse but I know it's that way in football and I believe soccer. The NCAA mlax rulebook specifies a 1/2" maximum length, but the wlax rulebook lists no length specification, just like lilaxgurl23 quoted above.
sumSum, I thought you had the Nike Speed TD's w/ the molded sole & cleats. I believe the Super Speeds are the same as the TD's but use detachable cleats instead.

I just thought I should point out, if you are goign to get football cleats or any type of cleats I guess, look at ebay. Type in cleats, then pick your category to the left. You can easily get some pretty sweet cleats for under $10.

My bad, I do have the Nike Speed TD's. The names are so similar I always get confused.

Hmm I just recently, well not too recently, but I think in this month, got some adidas Grid Iron's. So far I am in love with them. Mad cheap too. I have used them on turf, because we can wear normal cleats, and I will be wearing them for season too.

I would go with the second pair. The first pair look like they're detachable and you don't want to mess with that.

I have the warrior mens mid burn, and i love them. I have the cleats version. They are great and in my oppinion, well worth the money. I am now going into my second season with them and they show little wear, and i used them in all types of weather.
On turf i have wear soccer turfs. I would get the burn turfs but im too cheap lol. Plus i spent alot on these turfs for soccer so i might as well use them.
Prior to using the burns i just used regular soccer cleats all the time. But i like having the higher ankle support. ::knock on wood:: i havent rolled an ankle with them yet... (i think i may have just jinxed myself :-/ )

Mine are pretty much like that. They or at least mine are amazingly comfortable,I love em. I know a lot of other people have them too, I have yet to hear a bad complaint. But be careful, those look like boys 5 not mens 5. I would email just to make sure...
