Hey guys I'm kind of new to lacrosse and I just broke my first long pole in practice. I was looking at a Harrow Defense shaft and I was wondering if anyone could relay any information on this to me. How "strong" is it, how does it feel and could it take a hell of a beating and so on. The help would be much appreciated.

if your "kinda new" you dont need a $160 shaft. get a krypto d-pole. its awesome and much cheaper

I need something that will hold up I looked at the krpto D-poles and didn't really like the feel(I have a teamate with one) and I need something that will hold up because I plan on attempting to play in college

my teammate has one and ive used it a few times. i personally feel safer with a metal pole.

You shouldn't really plan on a shaft lasting more than a few seasons. If you're a freshman, your pole will not last for four years of steady playing.

Do not go with a harrow D-shaft, i bought one at a camp from the harrow rep and in like 2 hours i broke it and then broke the replacement, after that i demanded my money back and got it, i would invest in a STX titanium shaft, it should last you at least yr hs career.

i have a harrow and it CAN take a beating. the grip is superb. the paint chips off, but i dont care about how it looks. If you do, then you can get a black one and color it in with sharpie or not get one. its light enough, but heavy enough to deliver a nice check. i really cant say enough good things about mine. i love it.

it will not hold up through your hs career. people have tried them on my team and like the feel, but they just dont hold up for very long. like mentioned above, stx titanium is your best bet.

I love my harrow pole, the thing is a BEAST! I just got it during fall but have played some games wid it, and it is superb to sya the least. Not really sure what everyone is saying about them breaking but w/e...I got mine in white and black(match school colors) and like exile said, the paint chips off...which makes it look a little ugly but who cares(the white [paint chips off and the part under is black so it still matches school colors..haha). The thing has such a great feel though, its amazing. Still getting another brine ti shaft though because I dont want to chip off all the paint on the harrow...id still like it to look at leats semi-decent.

Ive been playin LAX for 18 years and i would go for the harrow. it has a lifetime garrenty anyways so if you brake it then you can just get a new one for free. Its really lite to

If you've been laxing for 18 years and your grammer STILL sucks, you must have taken your fair share of hits to the head. And no, it has a 6-month, one replacement warrenty.

thats not true at all...ive got a brother who plays d1 as a senior in college and he handed me down his warrior cu31 platinum that hes had since a freshman in highschool(not to mentoin wielding it as a freshman at Manhattan in the NCAA's)...and now ive been using it for a good 2 seasons since ive been on 8th grade modified to now as a sophmore on varsity
