yea but it is much thicker and stiffer and shaped well...stx powerplay is garbage...they snap easier than you can say evo...LOL..yea i have seen more stx box snap than evos in box lax....

look into mohawks box pinched too

and brine canada heads, if you like fruity brine

I know this is gonna sound weird coming from an aussie guy, but haven't you guys seen the STX Heat yet? It came out late last year and is the replacement for the flawed Powerplay. Check it out. The prices are in Australian $ which explains why they are so high.

I have seen the STX Heat in person. It basically has the same face as the STX Powerplay, but with a different sidewall.

Yea, the heat looks the same, and I had already wasted money on powerplay....

I have tested a penitrator... What a head, but I prefered the revo pro, it had a lighter frame, just as stiff, but it is a shape thing, revo pro has a sidewall that enables a pocket to form right immediately under a shooter....right below the scoop which is ideal for box lax, and I like it like that for field lax too....Finally there was a head stiff and thick enough for box, light as heck, pinched to the max allowed in field, but still tight enough for box, and a head for both versions I did not have to heat up and pinch. Personally I am hyped that I finally have a head I can take advantage and feel secure I have warranty on...LOL
