Dose anyone know what the benifits are to using a Harrow box shaft to a titanium shaft? Say if the two are the same length and on the same head which one would preform better? Or would there be a difference?

THey are not tough enough.....

They key difference is in the feel.....It has a rubberized painted feel that requires no tape for grip and I love their shape, but they are not really tough enough for box yet, they need to develop it a bit more for box, they crack in half....

theyre fine for kids up throught middle school... but in any high school they dont stand up to a titianium shaft at all. they have a much better feel than a titanium shaft, but it's not worth it since they break so easily.

Definitely not true. I am yet to see a Harrow break at a high school level. I've been using mine since the fall and there is still nothing wrong with it at all, aside from like 4 paint chips, but that happens. Titan pros are the weakest of the titanium shafts and that is what you use. Warrior's paperthin titanium technique is not the greatest of their creations.

Field attack. I know some i-beams break, but that's expected due to the random skinniness.

It's amazing how people say harrows only last til the middle school level and not hs or beyond. I have a harrow D-pole and it does perfectly fine for HS level. And also for all the doubters...I just saw UNC play Limestone today in a scrimmage game (UNC wins 8-7) and about half the limestone players were using harrows (saw ton of howitzers, few field ones, and 2 harrow poles). So if college players are using harrows, then im sure HS players will be fine.

Btw did anyone else notice that they no longer have the solid ends in harrow shafts, but rather have hollowed ones now. I talked to a rep and he told me that it was not necessary for the filled in cork things at the end anymore, because they made the shafts a little stronger this year (dont know how true that is but w/e). The hollowed harrows are what is being produced now and the ones wid corked ends are being phased out.

Colleges get free gear. They might have a great contract where if your shaft breaks, there's one waiting for you. I'd use a harrow then too, if I knew it could be easily and quickly replaced. I don't know if they have a contract, but it's possible.

College players get free gear to a certain extent. You get a certain amount of sticks each season, and in order to get free Harrows you would have to be sponsored by Harrow, otherwise you're paying.
