You sir, got it right. Is it me or is Brodie Merrill quite possibly the most underappreciated talent in D1 lacrosse? If he isn't Prossner is.
And on the subject of the goalie spot...for D1 its Havalchak but the best goalie I have ever seen is Alex Civialer from Nazareth (D3)...that kid would be a superstar playing in a major D1 program.

Thanks for the compliment, and I'll have to turn around and agree with you on your observations of Alex Civialer. Heck of a goalie, and Naz has got him for two more year and with all three of his long sticks back in front of him Naz will BE BACK TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!
(I go to Nazareth BTW)

Ah, very cool. Yeah, it'll probably be Naz and Salisbury again. Too bad you are from the wrong end of East Ave (I did my undergrad at St. John Fisher) :)

Man some of you guys picked crazy.
A - Prossner, Walters, Thomson
M - Harrison, Boulukos, Will
D - Garvey, Hendler, Barry
LSM - Merrill
DM - Cittadino
FO - Corno
G - Russell
I'm not sure Merrill is underappreciated but I do feel he might be the best player in D1. Goalie was hard, Havalchak is great but I had to take Russell.

Hey I never said they were any good. Heck, when I was there they disbanded the club level lacrosse team. I am glad to see that they made a commitment to the athletic program a few years ago when Dr. Keough became President. I spoke with a former professor of mine who is now the acting president of the college the other day and he said the college was at the point now where the commitment would have to be carried out. He said if Dr. K had passed a few years ago, they might have pulled the plugs on most of the athletic program aside from Basketball.

Bret Thompson from Duke....I think

I think Crockett and Merril are both very underappreciated players. I'd take crockett over Walters any day for best jr. simply because he has both hands. Walters has no right, never has, never will.

Thomson is Merrick Thomson from Albany, he was a freshman last year, put up 47 goals and 12 assists.
And saying Walters will never have a right hand seems harsh. Maybe he's worked hard on it in the offseason? He hardly needed it to put up 46 goals last year (22 assists as well). Crockett approaches him in goals at least (39).

How can you put Thomson over Crockett when Albany only plays about 2-4 quality teams. I think Crockett could have more points than Walters this year since he is the main-man this year as apposed to being smashed between two all-ncaa attackman last year.

It's easy, he scored 47 goals as a freshman to head his team. A smart team would thus put their best defender on him and he still scored at will. Contrary to your views on strength of schedule, I see they played as many quality teams as most others (http://www.albany.edu/sports/mens/lacrosse/2004.htm)
If I didn't take Thomson, I'd take Cara from Bucknell, or John Walker from Army before I'd consider Crockett. I'm just not that impressed. He was 2nd in scoring on Cuse, that's great. He's a great player. But there are others I would personally choose ahead of him. Whether I'm right or wrong, it's just an opinion.
