it seems like Minnesota is the only state where most of the girls lax teams wear kilts or skirts!

all the teams in central ohio do..as well...both lacrosse and field hockey...tradition...i guess...what do guys wear?....shorts or the one piece? I hated the middle school pleated kilts; like wearing an umbrella...at least in hs we wear the warrior skirts...looks a lot more modern...

I don't really like them, but some teams have them and some team don't. My team doesn't have the warrior ones, some kind of fabric, but I don't have to wear them, so I'm good, everyone gets pleased.

Woah....how on earth did you find our page? And yes, we gave up on the shorts cuz that was last year when we are only a club team and now we are varsity and have the skirts, but, i don't wear one cuz i'm the goalie :clap:

my asst coach last year got soo annoyed whenever we called them skirts. she was always like nooo theyre kilts!! shes flippin awesome she just moved to cali from maryland. college-allamerican and most goals in the whole division I when she was in college one year. anyway that has nothing to do with it except im excited for the season.

back on topic. we wear white polos with black and red plaid kilts for home games and our kilts are reversable to black for away games and we wear red polos then. they are kind of thick so it sucks and we got new uniforms this year but couldnt find any that we liked so we got the same ones again (we needed to get more because we are having 2 JV teams this year.)


oh yeha and the goalie on my team wears a kilt, even tho most dont.

Ahh, I would never, ever, wear a kilt. But I guess thats up to her... I perfer my team warm-up pants, some sweat pants or some of the guy's shorts.

i love the traditional plaid ones but they are soo thick. but i think it looks better than the solid UA or other ones. even tho i bet those are wayy more comfy

the really thin ones? yeah they seem like u would feel, well naked but in a good way cuz they would let ur legs like breathe. i posted a picture of our away unis on the members year book thread

I am surprised u guys don't wear the thinner unis ljlax...considering ur out on the west coast...it could still be snowing here when our season starts...most of us wear under armour.....but when it's hot the synthetic uniforms ventilate much better...

i like the CCLax uniforms too. some other club teams have the same ones but in their own colors. the only thing with those is that the girls that try to wear sweatshirts and stuff under them during the fall look pretty goofy...

we wear kilts and so does pretty much every other team in virginia. they're navy blue and pleated but i think we're getting new ones this year.

i believe it's a two piece, but it looks pretty much the same as the XTeam ones.

we had the warrior uniforms. i prefered those kilts over the pleated ones. they made you look fat.

I got my team debeer kilts. They're stretchy, not pleated, and very breathable. I think they will be very happy with them.

I think that my team has the ungliest uniforms ever. Our Skirts have royal blue on one side and this bright gold yellow on the other for home and away. They are like elastic material, but our shirts r like mens football or soccer, they hang to like ur knees and the sleeves got past ur elbows...there gross but i definately prefere to were the skirt. I find it more comfortable

Similar. XTeam has the dress I think. The reason I like the CCLax uniform is not because of the the halter back style but because the skirt is so cute! The side insert is a section of the MD state flag.

My club team always gets UA uniforms usually, which I am of course ecstatic over. We're supposed to be getting new ones soon too!

after reading this thread, I'm sort of split. I was a bit surprised that girls have to wear kilts. I can understand it's easier to maneuver (is it?) but I'd rather wear shorts. actually, I wouldn't mind trying out a skirt but I guess I should be careful what I wish for!

Well I know a lot of my team wears shorts or something similar under their kilts, so it kind of defies the whole kilt giving you more of an advantage. But probably not everyone does this. Personally I love shorts, I don't think I could do with out them or sweat pants for when it's cold out.

we wore black UA underwear under them. we used to be able to wear cheerleading bloomers, but the black bloomers weren't the same fabric as the warrior skirts. and then my coach found UA black underwearrrrr

I didn't like my CC lax skirt. I thought the MD flag was ugly on the side. I don't like our uniforms anymore because EVERYONE has them, so they're old now.

But, for my school we got the new warrior, thin, black skirts. They're comfortable and real easy to move in. Then for our shirts we were a white capsleeve shirt and away games it's a blue capped sleeve shirt. they're pretty hot. They're brand new, the old ones were soooo trife!! they were likle the original pleated checked kilts and old, and i mean old shirts. :dummy:
