At the A&M tournament yesterday it was raining so they filled up the muddiest spots with sand. While I was playing I got pushed into a puddle filled with sand and other stuff. I have been trying to dry them off using fans but they won't dry. Plus how do you get the sand out?

Both gloves got completely soaked.

You can throw them in the washing machine, I know a lot of people who wash their gear and I recently did, but not my gloves.

You can put your gloves in the washer but not the drier...

They may dry if you leave them next to a heater, or outside, but I don't know what the weather is like in Texas now.

Stuff them with newspapers...same thing with wet cleats. Once they're dry just pound the sand out of them by beating them together.

^yes do what POwenMeany said. If you can't beat the sand off, stick a vaccum up in your gloves.

You may have a problem with your gloves, but I have a problem with where you put this thread. MOVED TO EQUIPMENT FORUMS!

Ya I don't think a blowdryer would do anything, but if you left them out over night I think they would dry.

With the news paper use two sheets of fabric softener each glove/shoe cuz it gets rid of the odor, my mommy taught me this
