View Full Version : 1 week Training for tourney

I need to get in shape for my tournament this weekend. I am in alright shape but I feel like I will last only a game or two as a middie. I don't want to run any longer than a mile at once. I got a weights, net with balls, and plenty of room to do drills. Anything like exercises or drills would help. Also tips on what would be perfect to eat before a game and between games.

There isn't a lot you can do in a week, the best thing I can tell you to do is over distance, take it easy on the weights, and hit the wall.
Over distance is anything more then 4 miles.

A week is not really enough time to get into better shape. Hit the wall, shoot, and run. You can lift lightly, but you don't want to push it before a tourney because you will be exerting yourself quite a bit there.
