question about gels

I just ordered a pair of Brine X factor gels. My question is, are their two models of these? Like an older model, and a newer model? I've seen numerous amounts of pictures, and it seems like there are two models. i had no idea. On lacrosse.com i think they called the gels xfactor gels 2. well, if thats the case, i guess i ordered the older model for the same price of the new model. On the brine website, there is a pic of the older model. Can some one just give me confirmation that there actually are 2 models? And whats the difference?

in a sense, there have been 2 heavily defined models. there were the real old ones that i thiknk are on sale or were at lacrosse.com then there is the new model. there have been many releases on the second model changing little things such as the position of the vent holes on the backhand. supposedly the 2002 ones are the best but not for sale anymore.

maby you misunderstood me, i ordered the gloves. your first two links are shoulderpads.

They originally made the x-factors, then the x-factor gels, then the ventilator x ones that look pretty much the same as the gels but are like shiny, then the ventilator x, now the defts. All of those gloves look similar so maybe you saw a pair of those that look the same?

like the ventilation holes are located in differnt areas on the glove

I can't seem to see a difference maybe they were just changed the slightest bit.
