I'm a massive fan of traditional stringing and have lived off of it for 5 years. But, my fear is that dew, rain, ect will stretch the leather. Then again, synthetic would be tougher to break in and get a feel for. Any tips? I'm a little torn here.

try the trakker pocket, i have an extra piece if you want it for like $8 shipped, its yellow, someone gave it to me cuz they tryed it as a guys pocket and it blew (my phantom came with one too, but i soon got rid of it), but its basically like a trad pocket but more synthetic

i haven't tried it, but the stx precision pocket has no leathers in the middle (only 2 leathers total, one on each side). i'm still waiting for someone who has tried the precision pocket to reply in another thread so i can get an opinion bout it. it seems like the strings that replace the two leathers in the middle would help give a better hold on the ball...
anyways, i suggest the trad over the trakker pockets. what i do when i have 2 play in the rain is that i insert a wire next to each of the leathers, take the leathers out, and replace them with the leathers from my old pocket (and take out the wires too). this takes only about 4 min. so it's not that time consuming & it saves my "good" leathers
