Wildcats outscore Heels 4-0 in second half for 6-5 win. Even more impressive considering Hordy had 15 saves for UNC. Cats outshoot Heels 33-16.
Looking at the box score, it looks like Northwestern ran into a hot goalie and fell behind. Then regrouped at the half and clamped down big time on defense.
The rest of the schedule might not be so tough, but they answered a HUGE road test.
