on the subject about tournaments, i was wondering if i could sign up individually in a summer tourney. last year i went to nationals @ lehigh and had a great time, but i barely got to play cuz all the other teams were better and our defense could never get the ball to the other side of the field. yeah, so i wish i lived in a state where lax is more popular and there's much more competition than here in MN.

Some tournaments do allow individual sign-ups. If you check out http://www.womenslacrosse.com you'll be able to find out more information. They run most of the big tournaments out east. Also, if you check out XTeam, you might want to think about joining them. http://www.xteamlax.com will tell you more information. The team represents players from all over the country.

xteamlax sounds fun ...but costs too much! $100 + $700 + additional fees!! i checked out womenslacrosse.com but which tournaments can i sign up for individually?

I'm not sure which ones you can sign up for individually but I know I've seen the option before. Both of their summer tournaments are closed though.
