Since the All-Star Game is Saturday, who's going, and what are you looking forward to most? For me I just finally want to see Gait play live. I was supposed to go watch when Calgary played Colorado last year but the roads were really bad, so I've never og t a chance to see him.

First time I saw Gait (only time, too) he had 5 goals, two were one-handed. Crazy good.

I'll be at practice for most of the game, but I'm taping it.
It'll be sweet seeing all the best playing, although I've never seen a box game and I have no clue what the differences between box and field are...
Oh well.

Dammit, I have a church retreat. Someone record it for me and send it to me.

It's a whole other game. The skill set is pretty close to the same, but the rest of the game is pretty different from field. I think you'll like it. I dont really like watching field, well compared to box at least.

For those who don't know who to watch, I highlighted the best players in red (in my previous post). Notice, I didn't compile a list of all the biggest names, but the ones that are most likely to make a solid showing in the All Star Game.

Make sure you take notes, and know who you're looking for! :-)

i agree with most of your highlights except i think the kyle couling should be highlighted. he is one of the most underrated players in the league. every game he shows up to play. last year they were 8-3 with him and 0-5 without him.

Then add in Couling, and I'll be watching him too.

Scott Self was injured and replaced by Jay Jalbert was he not.since you have Self as a player to watch.

Sorry, forgot about Self. If he was healthy, he would be a player to watch. Jalbert is no hack, but certainly he's not the best at his position.

Just got home from the game, it was pretty good. Not enough hitting. The skills comp was bunk. They had 7 players from each team do every even, so 14 people per event. John Grant won the hardest shot with 102MPH.
