Syracuse won 9-4. Crockett got 4g, 1a..Leveille got 2 goals played well and Bucktooth dished out 3 assists. Sounds like it was a sloppy game but it's the first week what can you expect?

Just got back from it about half an hour ago. It was a very sloppy game for both teams; lots of bad passes, lost balls, etc. on both sides. SU looked good in the faceoff circle, with Danny Brennan taking all the faceoffs and winning something like 15 of 19 or so. Both goalies came up big, with Pfeiffer looking spectacular, and Army's goalie looking above average, at least. SU defense did a good job holding Army's offense down, and especially holding Army's star, #29 John Walker to only a couple points at most. It was fun to see the first goal of the season for SU scored by a D pole, Scott Ditzell.

crockett was on fire today... he played a good game...
as for the rest of the team... ehh... lots of dropped passes... they looked like they were in a rush for a hott date or something... they didnt look THAT bad tho

i talked to a few people that went. first goal scored by a pole. thats pretty cool. Howerver i had hoped cuse could put a few more tallies up there from what i heard about the game. Sounded like a good game overall tho.

It was really sloppy throughout most of it, but after a while the ofense started to pick up. The defense was Nice, and Pfeifer was amazing, we also won something like 14 out of 18 faceoffs.

it was low scoring untill the second half (3-2 i think at half) then they seemed to get going
