Women's Product Names

I got the idea from a guy who posted this about the men's product names. I thought it was cute. I picked the definitions that I thought related most to the naming of a lacrosse product.

DeBeer:

Impulse-a sudden desire, urge, or inclination, a driving force producing a forward motion.

Tempest-a severe commotion or disturbance, especially an emotional upheval.


Apex-the highest point of something, the most successful part of something, especially somebody's career or life.

Paragon-somebody or something that is the very best of something.

Response-something said or written in reply to a statement or question from somebody else, something done in reaction to something else.

STX:

Surge-to move in a body with a sudden rush in a particular direction.

Whiplash-an injury to the muscles, ligaments, vertebrae, or nerves of the neck caused when the head is suddenly thrown forward and then sharply back.

Factor-something that contributes to or has an influence on the result of something.

JA7-this, according to popular belief, means Jen Adams 7 (her number).

Brine:

Tenacity-persistant determination.

Synergy-the working together of two things to produce an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects.

Kind of. The workload was not too hard this weekend. When I took a break I was just surfing the net and stuff. I think that they probably just pick names that sound cool for the most part.

anyone have an archive of the brine women's board? i think i did the same list, but with some of hte older sticks as well.i'm too lazy to do it again tho....

Arc- a curved path, or the path of a celestial object in the sky

Echo - a reverberating soundwave...also used to refer to the after effect of a major event

Comet - big rock in the sky...very pretty.....reurns to our lil corner of the soalr system every so often..

BRINE

Typhoon - a hurricane..but the anglified asian name for it, from the chinese "Dai Fung" meaning big wind

WMX - Women's Magic X....identical to the MX for men...i guess the X just makes any product sound cool

Xcel - to excel, to achieve excellence....but wiht that X again

Xtreme - not technically a women's head..but i just felt like pointign out the many X's...from the word "extreme" meaning "the greatest or highest degree" (thank you dictionary.com for articulaing the meanings of these words so well)

PATTERSON

Spirit- the essense of something.....sticks also called the Wood Spirits once or twice...not sure if it's an offical name or anything

CRANBERRY

Viktoria - lady of victory
Hi-Score - to score alot ;)

WARRIOR

I HATE ALL THESE NAMES!

Venus - roman godess of love and beauty, sucked in battle (see her greek counterpart Aphrodite in the Illiad), vengeful 9see Euripides' play Hippolytus)....but still...love is a powerful force to be recokned with.....so is beauty *sigh*...probably the name i hate least

Diva - a prima donna...why name a stick for that , i don't know

Jette - possibly a miss spelling of the word Jetty..a stone structure that protects a harbour form tidal forces....or it could just be another stupid name from warrior

Vixen - she who is sly, A woman regarded as quarrelsome, shrewish, or malicious.....usually wiht a negative connotation *think i can get a job doign PR for warrior's women's department?*

The Warrior name Jette...I believe that is a French word that means to pounce or it could also mean to throw.
