These are the teams that have won NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championships. There are teams on here I never would have thought of, like Harvard, Penn State, and Delaware. And who is Massachusetts? UMASS Amherst?

Yeah, UNH has a women's team. Them and Boston University are the top two teams in the America East conference.

this is kind of off topic ..but sumsum, you play for md stars ..& i haven't seen you guys at ANY fall tournaments!! are you guys doing turkey shoot?

Yeah, we're doing Turkey Shoot.
Our team downsized. We used to have 5 teams, two junior, two sophomore, and a middle school team but this year its just a sophomore team. I think it will be like two teams total at Turkey Shoot. We did not do Woodson or anything like that because of some interior issues within the team.
I'm so excited for Turkey Shoot. It'll be the first time I've played lax since the summer...so long! I miss it and hopefully I wont be rusty when I play.
Are you doing Turkey Shoot? Which Supernova team are you on?

supernova just has 4 teams, one for each graduation year, except for 7 v 7 tournaments ..when we have like, 8 teams. haha. i'm on supernova 2007, usually. they've been mixing teams up & stuff lately ..so i'll let you know exactly which team i'm on for turkey shoot as soon as i know. :D which stars team are you on?

I don't know which one exactly I will be on. I would email my head coach and ask but she never replies (nice, huh?). My name is Summer and I'm the only one on MD Stars so just look in the program and you should find me. Are you a freshman then, if your on 2007?

It is kind of surprising to see that a lot of teams in the northeast used to be national champs. UMASS and UNH still have decent teams, but not like any top 20 teams that are out there now. UNH has a pretty decent team, they did not have such a great year last year though. They were young, so they will probably be a powerhouse in their conference. Maryland...no one can even compete with them. They are a lacrosse dynasty. When you think of womens lacrosse you think of Maryland. Every little girl dreams of playing for them and worships the girls who do play there. Some other teams are starting to build...but nothing compares!

The women's championships you mean? I'll look it up. I think its been going on for like 42 years or something. I could be wrong. I'll find out though...
womens NCAA championships, not lacrosse college championships.. theres a difference, i think the NCAA was made for mens lax in the 70's...just wondering abt women
