Everything but Metal. Lots of the stuff in the 80s, i don't particularly care to listen to grunge.

I listen to LOTS of metal, especially before games. my 60 gig iPod photo is filled with 12 gigs of just metal music. plus other stuff
I dont really have particluar bands or groups I listen to if I like the sound ill listen to it if not, I wont ...pretty simple.

older stuff... The ONLY time i listen to hard stuff is before games. I really like classic rock like supertramp, rush, petty, zepellin, hendrix, the cars (really like these guys), boston, deep purple, van halen, talking heads... all the old stuff.

mostly metal and industrial, but I worked for several years as an audio technician so I'll listen to most anything...or at least put up with it. And at work now, the radio is tuned to classic rock which can be hit or miss sometimes.

I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it's not Good Charlotte, NOFX, Simple Plan, you get my drift. Right now though Metallica, Led Zeppelin, and The Hives are what I'm mostly listening to, but I listen to a ton of stuff.

Im mostly into underground hip hop/rap of late.
Im tired of rock now, ive been listening to what everyone's been listening to like third eye blind, dashboard, sugurcult, taking back sunday, the used, etc.
I'll save some time for modest mouse, franz ferdinand, radiohead, the eagles, the who, etc., but im done with rock for now.

Hmmm me and enjoi may be tight like west coast brothas but I gotta listen to metal. Metal Classic rock, trance, electronica of any sort. LOOOVE stuff with synths. Some rap, a lot of underground music, and the best by far would have to be reggae and Ska. It comes with being part jamaican

Underground rap/hip hop, freestyle rap/hip hop, punk, popunk, ska, emo, screamo, hardcore, acoustic rock, and I just recently started listening to techno, not a huge fan but still I think some of it is good.
Anyone.....what is the differance between Trance, Techno, Ambient, etc.

Reggae, ska, jazz, punk, old-school rap (not a fan of many of the newer ones), some country but not much, jam bands, blues, a little bit of everything.

Not too sure myself but i think trance is more "ethereal", light , usually with a female vocalist. techno is the main genre that encompasses ambient, trance, rave, etc. Ambient is more like its name, little to no vocals, kind of like a soundtrack.
