i dont want to be holding a metal stick in the rain right now thats just dumb so i got on the forums and i am stringing a stick. What do you do when it rains and u want to go mess around with your stick or just shoot on goals?

If it is warm out I will go play in puddles and lay on the ground. One time I didn't realize I was swimming in a backed up sewage...
The athletic director at my school is a jerk so he won't let the lacrosse team play in the gym.

I usually will just watch TV, clean my room, play some PS2, stuff like that....If its warm out I'll go running cuz I love running in the rain.

Ha! Silly Arizonian.
It's a tradition I continue. It started way back when I was liek twelve, adn my brother ran out in his underwear (boxers, by the way) and i followed him. Nowadays, I call my best friend over and we do it. Sometimes underwear, sometimes not.

i go out running if its warm, or ill go out and shoot anyways with my backup stick. as long as theres no lighting i figure a game wouldnt be called, so why shoudlnt i practice like i play?

O yeah, and for the scrabble person, it was invented in where I used to live in CT: Sandy Hook. A little plot of nowhere if you care. I always thought it was cool.

Well...if it's not raining too hard..I'll find some friends and run down the street with no shoes and barely any clothes like a bunch of losers...or if it's raining really hard, then my satelite doesn't work (how depressing) so I can't watch tv half the time, so I play xbox or i'll play some wall ball in the basement.

I play lacrosse in thunderstorms. With longsticks too actually. I got yelled at about that one. Apparently it was a stupid thing to do? whatever. So if it rains, I just play with my fresh mesh and harrow. Perfect thunderstorm stick.

yeah I play xbox, and find random people to hang out with. good times up in MI, with all the rain and snow we get, you have to be good at entertaining yourself.

I do absolutely nothing. No one has a basement here so that really isnt an option. And most of the time I do feel like going outside when it is raining. I usually end up watching t.v.

yea in texas you ont have basements because of the ground it was weird because i was used to a basement in mass and the garage was crammed with stuff when e moved to texas
on the reaining thing i just string and play xbox
i either have band practice, play on my bass or drums or go on the computer!! ooooooo and eat..........a lot!

yeah rain? san diego? i experienced hat for the first tme this year. it rained a lottt. but it doesnt really rain hard. and i dont ahve a basement either. usuall i just hang out with friends or watch a movieor something. maybe head down to the beach for an adventure..even tho its all sewagey during and riht after it rains...

thats probably a good thing, we had baseball practice in the gym and some errand throws took chunks out of bleachers.

i sit inside and play on the comp (like always) go to the boards for hours on end (like always) play ps2, watch tv, string if i have an unstrung head lying around, sleep, dont do schoolwork.
I can't imagine not having a basement. My room IS the basement...i just dont understand.........ah i love all this space down here :-D

We had a practice before during a thunder shower.
During rain falls, I usally go outside and just sit on my front porch and just stare outside and smell the rainy air.

I like to stay at home and play Xbox Live. I live in Oregon, so there's a lot of those days in the Winter and Spring.
I just joined, and I was surprised to see how many people live in Oregon also.

Not a damn thing. I've been outta school since last Friday, and I think it has rained since Tuesday night up through this evening. Haven't been to the pool. I have no lacrosse buddies who would throw with me. Don't have my license (13 days). All the fly girls went to Malibu (Canada) on a Young Life trip that I didn't get my paperwork in for. Meant to order some Jimalax stuff 3 days ago, only did it today at 5:00. Already watched the final tape two or 3 times since Monday and got my semis tape two hours ago. Unfortunately, the dood who taped it didn't account for a 40 minute lightning delay in Philly, so I'm screwed for the last 7 minutes and then OT. No good PS2 games, though I was supposed to get Chaos Theory tonight. My summer reading books SUCK, and my IB History of the Americas work for next year is just downright depressing.
HOWEVER, I GOT MY JOB BACK TODAY! I had to "resign" for the second semester due to lax, and I'm working for 7-8 hours tmrw, so my wallet should be a little heavier sometime soon.
In a sentence, my summer vacation has consisted mostly of rain and it blows: no parties, no pool, no hoes, little lax.... :bawling: Damn the world...

just be glad ur out of school because i still have two weeks left..
its been like cloudy and almost rainy lately, but not quite. i wish it would rain just fo rlike ten min cuz i need to wash my car and i'd rather not...
i remmeber in like elementary and middle school we would like bundle up and go down to the beach. and some how we would always end up swimming in our clothes in the freezing water. haha it was so funny. i even have pictures of this one time it like poured and a port-a-potty fell over and we stood on it.
now thatss what u should do on a rainy day
actually that may sound lame but it was really fun. cuz like a lot of us sat around all morning watching movies and then we got like hyper i guess and went to the beach.

Well....About a month ago we got all ready for a REALLY big away game, 2 hours away. Got all the way there, and the coach called my coach saying it was pouring (we were there, it wasn't even drizzling) so we drove back home and had practice, (it was pouring at that point at home) Bout half of my team and I decided that we weren't through w/ the rain, we wanted to continue having our fun.SO we went to this creek and went rafting.
So what do I do when its raining?Play around in it w/ my best of friends rafting!!
