Lacrosse hair?

Hey, I know this may be kinda stupid, but you know the hairstyle where it's really long? I can't really describe it. Here I'll grab somepictures from the Yearbook.

I want hair like those guys, but my hair is kinda straight. It's also pretty short too. Is it just a matter of growing my hair out longer to get that kind of...scruffy hair look? Or must I have been born with naturally wavy hair :thumbsdow

Just let it grow out. Also, depending on when you dry your hair when getting out of the shower depends on whether or not the ends curl up. Just make sure you keep everything in trim so its proportional and you dont have a mullet.

Hmm, let me find a pic of myself from a few months ago. There we go. Yeah, I just wash my hair and brush it to the left. It curls my itself so. Ohh yeah, when I was younger my hair was as straight as can be.

Haha! It's me! I just grew my hair out, I had my mom's friend cut it, she happens to be a hair stylist, I highly recommend that you get your hair cut by a hair stylist, that way it grows in better and won't be all frazzly. Right now mines about 7, 8 inches long and still gets curly. You also need to use conditioner right, which I really don't know how, but it involves like 3-4 times a week. I also took two showers a day :)

my hair is kinda like the first pic, except realllllllly dark brown, but not quite black. when i get out of the shower i towel dry it, comb it, then kinda shake my head and poof, i get curls (or as my gf calls it "wings" cuz they arent really curls). but its kinda hard to tell too cuz i always have a hat on.

Anyways, seriously, just let it grow for about 7 months, then get it trimmed, layered, cut, styled whatever you need to do, some people have curly hair, some don't. If you don't, follow laxgirl's idea and get a perm :crazy:

Mine's been growing for 6.5 months about, and it'll get cut in 2 weeks. Into a mullet. We play our rivals, so I've been growing my hair since the middle of August and it's long enough that I just toss it to the left on my head. I look suave. But this one girl wants me to cut it anyway, and the mullet is for our rival, Jordan. That'll be a good game. A bunch of girls like it long and shiny, but whatever. I condition every day, and sometimes twice when I shower after practice. It's freakin' soft now. Not too long in the back, though. It's hard to grow a mullet, because the top is about 6-7 inches, but the back is about 3. Weird. Yeah, all I do is towel dry and then shake dry, then there's the whole tossing of the head to keep my hair out of my eyes. Then I'm lookin' suave. Oooh baby.

Get a straightner.. haha All the guys are turning in to girls " get a perm", "condition everyday, sometimes twice", "it'll be nice and smooth"... I am loving this. Yeah my hair use to be mad long, then it got chopped, and now it is at my shoulders. Once you get it past a certain length though, it should become easier. Good luck boys. Don't turn out like a friend of mine who looks like a dog though...

Just have it layered/thinned out. Salon stylists are light years ahead of us when it comes to hair. They will know what to do.

Hey well I got a hair cut the other day :( but before that it was kinda long. with some gel i got a look i liked. anyways, right now my hair on top is like 1.25 or something inches, and sides its even less. i have the look where u spike it up in the front right now. i wanna get the look of those 2 guys up there ^^^ but what I'm worried about is getting real straight hair where it just goes down straight, and isnt wavy and go out a bit.

Pritom, I have a shag kinda like a guy in your pics... My hair is kinda long (a little longer than that guy) and thin, but it is all about using conditioner for softness and manually drying it out of the shower with a towel, so when you go outside it can airdry.

HAHA thank god i found this website. I have the same hair. Last time i got an actually hair cut was October of 2003. It took me about 6 months and then it started looking sweet with what people call my "wings". I trimmed it about November of 2004 because well people got mad bc they couldnt see my eyes lol(but i swear i could see with it.) And exactly a week ago i got it trimmed again and this time it actually looks good i got my wings back and i dont have to put forth any effort to see except i cant chew on it anymore...now as far as how i get my curls. To be honest i dont know. I just Brush it occasionally and Wash it every morning. Then when i get out of the shower i shake the **** out of it with my towell and WA LAA

I like my hair short otherwise the sweat gets stuck in it under your helmet and it a gets annoying to get the smeel out and it lies out all over. In short it stinks.And it covers up areas in your head that the sweat comes down and it makes that skin more likely to grow pimples.

I proudly wear my manly "Lumberjack Lacrosse" shirt all over this place. I get made fun of because of the double meanings it could have...but uh, we're getting off topic.
My hair is short and straight, not even to my eyes. I'm going to get a buzzcut over the summer. It is so much cooler under the helmet with short hair, and you don't have to worry about "conditioning" your hair and getting "perms"

Ya I know that is one thing that sucks a** but I'm not sure how I would look with long summer and I dont wanna look like a dummy during school, so I could grow it during the summer and seehow it turns out, even though I'll be sweating like a pig then.

Pritom, man I'm Indian too. You shouldn't really give a crap about what other people think of you, just grow it out. But as far as Indians go, different people have different kinds of hair. One of my friends (Indian) has really curly hair and it just curves for him. As for me, I have wavy hair. Wavy hair is alright for wings and growing out.

Also, I wash my hair daily with shampoo and conditioner, so it's always looking kinda fuzzy...if I don't, and just rinse my hair, and maybe wash it on the weekends or something, will it have more....TEXTURE and stuff (like you can distinguish between the hairs and stuff, it doesnt all look like one big fuzz pile or something)
