I use a standard dura mesh kit. I like my mesh really broken in so its almost soft while still maintaining a pocket. I keep two straight shooting strings with one v string. I like my pocket low on my long pole even though some still prefer a high pocket I just don't find it necessary.

I've used a rocket pocket on a long pole and I liked that too. I'm not sure which pocket it was but it cradles really well, something you might want to consider if you have the money to order it or the skill to string a homemade one.

I have the same combo (TRiton w/803) and my head is strung with six diamond! It has amazing hold and catches the ball like a catcher's mitt! I feel like I could cradle through a brick wall the way my head is strung with six diamond! Check it out, you won't be sorry! :bye:

Post to the correct forum next time please.

Punctuation helps as well. And please be more specific about stringing.

Honestly, it is so hard to have other people tell you (over the internet no less) how to string a stick, everyone has a different playing style and what may whip for you, may not whip for others. if you get my drift.

Welcome to the forums btw. :D

i use a mesh-x instead of normal mesh, better hold and i love the channel. but if u don’t want a custom pocket use the mesh with the biggest diamonds.

I use a rocket pocket on my longpole as well. At first I thought it felt top-heavy but I got used to it. Although I haven't played long pole in years I still like to mess around with it and like it better than mesh...of course everything is just personal preferrence.

I get my 8d on when it comes to my d-pole, great control with little whip. Middle pocket.

I wouldnt suggest a high pocket on ur D-pole, because when cradling you will problably go verticle. I high pocket is hard to do that with.

refer to the FAQ in the stick tech for why this thread is closed. Do some research, then come back with more specific questions, and we will answer them for you. Try to shy away from the "what (insert piece of equipment) should I get?" questions.
