Hey ever 1 i wanted 2 get some feed back on stringing a STX:Bionic. I got it and strung it its not too bad but i think i can get a better pocket out of it. Any 1 know of a good pocket that has some good "Hold" like ball control for fakes but still has a good shot??? please let me know ill see if i can get a pic from my digital camera thanks.

I've heard Mesh-Xs are really good. I have not used one though.

ive been messin with it for a day or two now and the best combination ive found so far is a high sitting double U pocket with 1 shooter a lot like the factory default stuff but with a pocket any 1 have some other good combos for stx heads?

if you put rails out of shooting strings the ball rattle will reduce, place as your bottom shooter an inverted U and then put 2 or 3 more shooters gradually looser.

you shot will be hard, and accurate and you control will be awsome.

Dude I have a bionic and its the best stick ive got cuz i tried traditional pocket this time and it kills everything I get sick shots with it and if u can get someone who knows how to string u can get a sweet pocket out of it. Also for a configuration just throw 3 shooters on it with the top one about an inch from the scoop.

I personally have my bionic strung with two leathers going from the two inside holes (top) to the two outside holes (neck). I wove the leathers in and out of some cut mesh, to get the mesh center. I then borrowed stylin' strings coil idea and have coils ruining from my sidewall, to the leathers, around the mesh, and back to the sidewalls. I absolutely love my pocket, I has a slightly slow release, but nothing major. It's got a rocket for a shot, great on faceoffs, and it's pretty darn light. I often have kids ask to try my stick, because of the pocket. While they're off picking corners like a sniper, i'm trying hard not to laugh at how heavy their heads are. And the Bionic is one of the heaviest heads out there! I guess it's just because i'm used to it, but my proton, strung with a similar pocket, just with a trakker rails for the center, instead of mesh, with a stx ti shaft, weighs nearly the same. obviously it's lighter, but that bionic is a blast to play with. I'll try to get some pictures up shortly for ya.

I would make a V and two straight shooters at the top and a high pocket for fakes.

Fakes have to do mostly with where your pocket is placed. High vs. low
