Cuse has got to stop losing, but it was a good game. You can see pics on Lax.com

It was a good came. Cuse was strong in the begining but then the Hoyas took over. I think the Momentum shifted when Brodie Merril scored that goal.

I watched both games on cstv and was impressed by georgetown. I had never really seen Merril before and he was great. I found it sad that the SU defense couldn't stop him. SU is supposed to have a really good defense, but I have to say that Pfeifer and the rest of the D really let SU down in the second half. 4th quarter possesion time was like 11 min. Georgetown and just 4 min. SU. AT 1-2 Syracuse needs to win a few. They also need to get Leveille going. He only had one goal.

i have never watched a college game and never have followed any. I was just wondering how many people are in the stands for college game on average. In those pics posted it looks empty

Most college games with the exception of the tournament aren't exceptionally crowded but it depends on the team, game, home or away, weather, etc. I couldn't really give you an average number because it veries a lot.
Really, this game wasn't that big of an upset. Georgetowns a real solid team and Syracuse isn't the same Syracuse everyone is so used to. There not a very strong team this year and are relying on winning experience and defense in my oppinion. I'm glad Georgetown won cuz I don;t really like Cuse but either way I"m not too surprised.

The Home Depot Center is a large stadium for outdoor soccer. With an expected crowed of 8,000-10,000, they only opened part of the stadium seats for the spectators. So all the fans were on one side

Yeah all the fans were on one side of the stadium, with the south, north, east sides closed off to spectators.
